We publish fewer books, with more attention.
Luminary acquires no more than nine titles per year across all four offices. Each manuscript is shepherded through fourteen months of close editorial work and a further six months of production by a single team that does not change.
We do not publish for the algorithm. We publish for the shelves of people who choose carefully and read once.
Our authors are read in cabinets, in boardrooms, and at breakfast tables in towns that do not appear on most maps. That is the only metric that matters to us.
